Ruge's Legacy

The Ruge Mutahaba Foundation (RMF) was established in memory of the late Ruge Mutahaba, a media and entertainment guru, who worked tirelessly to inspire, encourage and support young Tanzanians to pursue big dreams.

Ruge dedicated his life and career to serving those in need, fostering empathy, nurturing youth talent, exploring business opportunities, and, most importantly, blazing a trail towards the commercialization of the media and entertainment industry (‘Jasiri Mwongoza Njia’).

Ruge led by example, assembling teams that worked on projects like Fursa (a national wide Youth Entrepreneurship Program), School of Excellence (Graduate Mentorship Program) and Tanzania House of Talent – THT (under privileged youth with talent)

The foundation is committed to honoring his legacy by continuing his work in nurturing youth talent; serving those in need; exploring business opportunities and commercializing new media.
